Anti-Spam Policy
This policy applies to all Aroopa services used for sending bulk or commercial emails ("Covered Services"). By using these services, you agree to comply with Aroopa's Anti-Spam Policy. You may only send emails or messages to individuals who have explicitly given you permission to do so. Unauthorized emails or messages are strictly prohibited, and violation of this policy may result in the termination of your account.
"Permission" denotes clear and verifiable authorization granted specifically to you. Such authorization to send commercial emails can be obtained through various means:
Providing an email address during website downloads or product purchases. Subscribing to an email newsletter via a website form. Submission of an email address during participation in contests, events, or surveys, with prior notification of receiving marketing emails. Checking an opt-in checkbox on a form, provided it's unchecked by default, with disclosure of commercial email nature. Exchange of business cards indicating willingness to receive commercial emails, especially when given at trade show booths.
Aroopa strongly emphasizes 100% compliance with the directive: "Do not use Covered Services to send mails or messages to email addresses without express permission on the email's subject."
It's important to note that this 100% compliance excludes instances where emails are marked as spam despite having express permission. Additionally, permission is considered revoked if recipients opt out of receiving further emails.
Users must strictly adhere to the following rules:
Obtain explicit permission to contact recipients on email subjects. Maintain sufficient proof of permission from all recipients of emails sent via Covered Services. Refrain from importing or sending emails to addresses acquired from third parties. Ensure accuracy of routing and header information. Avoid deceptive subject lines. Provide one-click unsubscribe options and honor opt-out requests within 10 days. Include valid physical postal addresses and conspicuous notices of advertisement or solicitation in all marketing emails.
Aroopa reserves the right to request proof of permission for imported email addresses at any time.
