Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs subscription purchases, renewals, and related transactions made on the Aroopa Apps platform (“Platform”), operated by Aroopa (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). 
By subscribing to or purchasing any service on the Platform, you (“Customer”, “User”) agree to be bound by this Policy.

1. Scope and Applicability

1.1 Applicability

This Policy applies exclusively to digital subscriptions, licenses, and SaaS services purchased directly through the Aroopa Apps Platform.

1.2 This Policy does not apply to:

  • Custom development agreements governed by separate contracts
  • Enterprise agreements with negotiated commercial terms
  • Third-party services integrated into the Platform and billed separately

2. Subscription Cancellation

2.1 Initial Subscription Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of initial subscription purchase, subject to the following conditions:

  • The request is made during the first billing cycle only
  • No substantial usage beyond standard onboarding limits has occurred
  • No custom configuration, implementation, integration, or dedicated provisioning has been completed

Approval of cancellation requests shall be at the sole discretion of Aroopa.

2.2 Auto-Renewal and Recurring Billing

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as applicable) and automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.

  • Customers must cancel before the next billing cycle to avoid renewal charges.
  • Cancellation after renewal does not automatically entitle the Customer to a refund.

2.3 Non-Cancellable and Non-Refundable Fees

The following are strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable:

  • One-time setup or onboarding fees
  • Custom development or bespoke feature charges
  • Data migration services
  • Third-party license costs incurred on behalf of the Customer
  • Professional services delivered

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

  • Verified technical defects materially preventing core platform functionality
  • Billing errors directly attributable to Aroopa

All refund requests must be submitted within fifteen (15) calendar days of the transaction date.

3.2 Technical Issue Resolution

Before processing any refund related to service performance, Aroopa shall be provided a reasonable opportunity to:

  • Investigate the issue
  • Provide support
  • Implement corrective measures

Refund eligibility will be determined only after reasonable remediation efforts have been made.

3.3 No Refund Circumstances

Refunds shall not be granted under the following conditions:

  • Change of mind after activation
  • Lack of usage or under-utilization
  • Business performance expectations not achieved F
  • Failure to cancel prior to renewal
  • Account suspension due to violation of Terms of Service

4. Refund Processing

4.1 Approved refunds shall be processed within fifteen (15) business days.

4.2 Refunds will be issued through the original method of payment unless otherwise required by law.

4.3 Aroopa reserves the right to deduct applicable processing fees, taxes, or service usage charges where legally permissible.

5. Data Access and Retention Upon Cancellation

5.1 Upon cancellation or termination, platform access shall continue until the end of the active billing cycle unless terminated for violation of Terms.

5.2 Customers may request export of their data within fifteen (15) days following termination.

5.3 After the data retention period, Aroopa reserves the right to permanently delete or archive Customer data in accordance with its Data Retention Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

Refund of subscription fees, where applicable, shall constitute the sole and exclusive remedy available to the Customer under this Policy. 

Under no circumstances shall Aroopa be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of subscription cancellation or service discontinuation.

7. Policy Modifications

Aroopa reserves the right to amend or modify this Policy at its sole discretion. Updated versions will be published on the Platform and shall become effective upon posting.

 Customers are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.
